Who we are

We are a tiny, two room studio in Traverse City, MI with ample Free parking and a Quiet, Personal, Private environment. Once in a while, you might run into another client coming or going, but generally, it is quiet and serene. We do not have a “waiting room” or a receptionist, so we ask that others do not accompany you to your appointment. If you need to “stop by” for something, please call ahead or go online to book a “Product Pick Up” appointment, to be sure we are available to help you. We are both meticulous! We specialize in Personal Waxing and Anti-Aging Facials. We take your privacy seriously. And we DO NOT book every 15 minutes, like Waxing Only places. We schedule enough time for a complete and thorough service. Every time. Punctuality, cleanliness and privacy are all important to us. We believe our calm atmosphere - intentionally created for our Northern Michigan Facial clients, gives us an edge over ‘waxing only’ places. Although they have an “energy” about them with upbeat music and such, our intention here is the opposite. Calm and Serene is always our goal! Just ask any of our Facial clients. Since we are in a one story building, there is no noise coming from upstairs or downstairs that you need to listen to. Often our Facial clients describe “drifting off” during their service. Not quite asleep, but not fully awake. :) We love hearing that!!

Who we are not

We are not a place in town to see and be seen. We are not a place for gatherings. We do not have a massage therapist, in house. We are, at present, not open on weekends. Instead we offer late, after work appointments on Wednesdays. We are also not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. It’s how we handle them, that matters. :)

I have been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1987. After attempting to become a hairdresser for many years, I was blessed to be introduced to Carol Lewis of Carol Lewis Skin Care in Birmingham, MI. She invested her time and talent to apprentice me. I am honored to have learned "old school" skin care techniques that are still vitally relevant today. At the International Dermal Institute in Chicago, IL, I furthered my post graduate education in all things skin. I continue my education on a regular basis with Bioelements Skin Care. Given the choice to use any skincare line in my spa, I chose Bioelements because it delivers results! They use the most effective ingredients available, are paraben-free and use no synthetic fragrances. What more could a girl want? In 2022, I became certified with Dermaplane Pro. An amazing company. And, at the same time, I was introduced to and trained in providing BioRePeel. Still learning. Still love what I do. More new things will be introduced in 2024!! Stay tuned…
